Job Summary

SUCO Souharda Sahakari Bank Ltd. is looking for a proactive and community-focused Microfinance Loan Officer to expand our microfinance program. This role involves assessing loan applications, conducting field visits, educating borrowers on financial products, and maintaining ongoing relationships to support our mission of financial inclusion.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and process loan applications in accordance with RBI guidelines.
  2. Conduct field visits to evaluate client needs and creditworthiness.
  3. Educate borrowers on loan policies, terms, and repayment requirements.
  4. Manage a portfolio of microfinance clients, ensuring timely repayments and providing financial guidance.
  5. Maintain records and update client data regularly to facilitate reporting and analysis.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
  2. 3 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or a similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of microfinance operations and community banking.
  4. Excellent communication skills in Kannada.
  5. Should own a two wheeler vehicle with a driving license.
